''First Eleven'' is a British specialist magazine for parents of children at independent schools. == Overview == Conceived by Charlotte Noel of C N Education an education consultancy firm founded in 2013. Charlotte Noel, a mother of three children, frustrated at the lack of information available for parents on education, finance, medical and leisure successfully launched the magazine in 2006. ''First Eleven'' is published to coincide with the school terms. According to its producers, its remit "is to inform, inspire and to provide insight." ''First Eleven'' was sold to Paul Dobson of the niche publishing company The Chelsea Magazine Company and is now called Independent School Parent and is still the Market leader amongst education magazines that connect parents, teachers and pupils. It is now edited by the journalist and broadcaster Annabel Heseltine, daughter of former British Deputy Prime Minister, Michael Heseltine and Lady Heseltine née Anne Williams, Trustee of the National Gallery and former trustee of the Ashmolean Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum and Imperial War Museum. Annabel Heseltine who began her career as Assistant Editor for the ''Hong Kong Tatler'' in 1986, has worked for and still contributes to ''The Telegraph'',''The Times'' and ''The Daily Mail''. She has also contributed to magazines including''Vogue'', ''Harpers and Queen'', ''The New Statesman'' and ''The Economist''.
